How often is Singles Night?
We host a monthly edition. Dates and the number of nights vary; it is not always a two-night weekend. Check Luma for the current schedule.
How much is a ticket?
Tickets: NT$700. Check Luma for dates and RSVP.
How can I pay?
You can pay at the venue with cash, a credit card or Apple Pay.
Am I the right age? Will I fit in?
You’re welcome at any age and from any background. We’ve had first-year university students and a retired guest from abroad who was 60.
You don’t need to be a certain kind of person to join us. Just come with an interest in meeting people.
How many people usually come?
Over 80 guests joined us each night at our first edition in late September. Attendance varies from month to month.
Do I have to drink or spend money on the bar hop?
You don’t have to drink alcohol or join the bar hop. If you continue to other venues, transport, drinks and any entry fees are separate.
You’re welcome even if you don’t drink. Joining the bar hop is optional. Stay as long as you like, or head home after the social.
Can I come alone?
Yes, please do. Many guests come alone. Let a host know it’s your first time, and we’ll help you meet people.
Are travelers welcome?
Yes. Even if you’re only here for a few days, I’d love you to spend a night with us.
Is this speed dating?
No. We won’t pair you up or time your conversations. You can meet people at your own pace.
Can I practice Chinese here?
Yes! You can practice Chinese while chatting with local guests. English is welcome too. This is a social gathering, so just enjoy the conversation at your own pace.
Do I need to drink alcohol?
No. You can have a non-alcoholic drink and still join in.
Do I have to sing karaoke?
Not at all. You’re welcome to listen, play darts or just chat.
Do I need to pay when I RSVP?
No. Choose your date on Luma and RSVP for free. You’ll pay at the venue.
What if my travel plans change?
Just cancel on Luma. I know plans can change when you’re traveling.
Is this only for foreigners?
No. You’re welcome whether you grew up here, moved here or are just visiting.
