Entry is NT$350 at the door, and that includes one drink — alcoholic or non-alcoholic, your choice. Reserving in advance is free and takes about 30 seconds. Walk-ins are welcome, but reserving means the hosts know you're coming and will look out for you.

Friday is a social night at Somewhere Bar, and it ends with a hosted move: around 10pm the hosts gather everyone and lead the group over to Maji Square together. That walk is part of the Friday experience, not an afterthought — though joining it is up to you.

Saturday runs the same way at Tea Bar, but the focus shifts to English–Mandarin language exchange, with a karaoke space for anyone who wants it. The other difference is the end of the night: on Saturday there's no hosted walk to Maji — people simply team up on their own. Both nights run 7:30–10:00pm and both cost NT$350 including a drink. Come to either, or both.

週五在 Somewhere Bar：先好好認識人，約 10 點主持人集合大家，一起走去 Maji Square。這段是週五的重點之一，不是隨便附加的行程——但去不去由你決定。

No. Singing is completely optional — plenty of people never pick up the mic and just talk all night. Saturday works fine as a pure conversation night if that's what you want.

Absolutely, and that's exactly what Saturday's language exchange is for. All levels are welcome including complete beginners — the point is relaxed conversation, not a formal class. Many locals attend with basic English, and everyone is patient. You don't need to be fluent. Just showing up is enough.

當然可以，週六的語言交換就是為此設計的。所有程度都歡迎，包含完全初學者——重點是輕鬆聊天，不是上課。很多本地人英文也只是基礎程度，大家都很有耐心。不需要流利，願意來就夠了。

Even arriving in the last hour, you'll still have time to meet people — most folks stay later anyway. One note for Friday: please arrive by 10pm, since we move on to the next bar after that. Saturday stays at Tea Bar until 10pm before the optional Maji crawl.

No. On Friday the hosts gather everyone around 10pm and lead the group over to Maji Square; on Saturday there's no hosted walk and people team up on their own. Either way it is completely optional — plenty of guests head home at 10pm and that is normal. There is no extra event fee for Maji. Transport, any drinks you order there, and any individual venue cover charges are on you.

You arrive at Somewhere Bar at 7:30pm, a host meets you and introduces you to people, and by 10pm you are walking to Maji Square with a group instead of working out Taipei nightlife by yourself. You do not need to know anyone, speak fluent Mandarin, or have plans for afterwards.
